In 1995, Mary Lynn Bennett founded the St. Frances Cabrini Hispanic Outreach at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend. In 1999, they were the recipient of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Social Justice Award for relationship building at a community level between the Hispanic population and the Community at Large. That same year, St. Frances Cabrini Hispanic Outreach expanded to include community representatives from education, social services, law enforcement and medical fields to discuss areas of common concern, develop solutions and build multicultural relationships. In 2004, Rev. Rafael Rodriguez was appointed as an Associate Pastor to St. Frances Cabrini by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in recognition of the dramatic growth of the Spanish-speaking immigrants in Washington County.

2006- Reverend Rodriguez and Mary Lynn Bennett co-founded Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc., a non-profit organization, under the umbrella of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

2007- Rev. Jorge M. Blanco PhD, was appointed full time Pastoral Director for Casa Guadalupe Education Center.

June 2010- Declared a 501c3, nonprofit independent of previous fiscal agent, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

June 2011- Realignment of Casa Guadalupe Pastoral Division with the relocation of Priest Coordinator Position to the local served parishes of St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception of West Bend WI and St. Kilian’s of Hartford WI, allowing for greater visibility within the Catholic faith community of Washington County.

2012 September- Noelle Braun is named Executive Director of Casa Guadalupe Education Center.

2013- Literacy and education programs expanded further in West Bend and Hartford communities.

2015 September- The “Dream to Succeed” Latino High School Career, College, and Life Readiness program piloted at West Bend East and West High School.

2016 January- Through a grant provided by Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, a bilingual Community Health Navigator was hired to further the “Healthy Latinos, Healthy Futures” program initiatives and reach more underserved and uninsured community members.

2019 July– Casa Guadalupe entered a five year lease agreement with St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and moved its office to 419 Roosevelt Dr. West Bend, WI 53090.

September 2023- Maria Gutierrez Gurrola is named Executive Director of Casa Guadalupe Education Center
